Mini Sessions.......contest...

Mini sessions run $60 and you get about 30 minutes camera time(my time & talents) two 11x14 prints and those same two image on CD with rights to print up to an 8x12 in size!!!!!!

You can win one and the ones you win can be used anytime, but if you want to book a mini session I only have those on select dates and times.

If you missed it, I just had a contest where you had to write in and tell me why having a family portrait is important to you.

We recently lost our black fuzzy friend in this photo.  Up until about a week beofre he was gone we had no pictures of our whole family together.   It makes you realize that life really is short!  All we have left are photos and memories.  My youngest may never even remember George.  What if something happens to one of us?  Won't we want nice photos to remind us of one another?  Pictures can tell the stories of our lives......

...the only "family photos" i have of all of us are from when they are "candid" photos really. We have never had a family portrait session done

....Our first daughter passed away at almost 3 months from sids.....Now that my baby girl is gone I'm so upset we don't have any good family pics.....

day 2 of 31 Days of Halloween.....

My daughter wanted a good fairy for her part in the 31 days of Halloween!  So here it is a butterfly fairy.

 

DAY ONE...Trick or Treat....Welcome to my 31 days of Halloween!

Welcome to my 31 days of Halloween Project.  I will be posting a Halloween themed photo everyday.  Not everyone will be creepy like this.  The creepy ones are by far my favorite ones because I get to go crazy on Photoshop to make them! 

Halloween Mini Mini minis........

OK here is the first date for my Halloween Mini Mini mini marathon   October 3rd!!!!!!  I am booking every half hour from 9am-7pm.  Every session is about 15 minutes long.  All pictures will be on one slide show within 48 hours. After they are up you tell me which one(s) you want via email and I will email you a high resolution image to you with rights to print up to an 8x12 in size and as many as you like.

Here are the packages:

$10  gets you 1 digital image for you to print up to an 8x12 in size
$20 gets you 2 digital images for you to print up to an 8x12 in size
$30 gets you 3 digital images for you to print up to an 8x12 in size

All of these will get 3 facebook images and a timeline cover too.

 

These two images above I took in a 5 minute mini mini mini mini mini mini session of my nephew just because he was over my house!   Yes I am a camera ninja and will take your photo, or your kids, if you are over my house and I am there! 

Coustmes not needed, but fun if you do bring them!

Why is having a family portrait important to you?

Why is having a family portrait important to you?  That is the question I am asking you right now!  Why?  Why should it be something more important than getting your nails done?  Why should it be on top of your list instead of on the bottom of it?

I know many of you say that having a family portrait can cost a little bit much for you right now.  But are you saying the same thing when you get your nails done or hair cut?  $20 here, $60 there, it all adds up!   Maybe you saved for that new handbag. Now I want to know what will that handbag do 30 years down the road for you? For me a family portrait is something I value!  Something that will last.  Something you can look back on and remember what was going on in your life at the time.  I know when I get my hair done it will cost me more than what my photo sessions cost. One it doesn't last that long, Two I can't look back at it with fond memories and three 30 years down the road my kids can't look back at it saying I remember when.....

I know life is sort and I want to capture that moment, that day, forever.   What about you?
