4 1/2 years.....

This is a post about my personal life. 

4 1/2 years and I still miss him.
4 1/2 years and I still wait for his afternoon call.
4 1/2 years and I still want to call him every week.
4 1/2 years and I still hear the words in my head.
4 1/2 years and I still wish it was a nightmare.
4 1/2 years and I still wish you could see your grand kids.
4 1/2 years and I can't believe it.

Tomorrow is my Dad's birthday.  He would have been 66 years old.  He loved the color red, riding his Harley, and loved spending time with his family.  I miss him.  I miss the way he would answer the phone, he never said "hello" it always sounded like "ye-llo" to me.  If you called on Easter he would wish you a happy new year.  He did that with every holiday.  Every Christmas he would put something odd in our stockings, one year it was apples, the next year microwave pop corn.   I can't remember him without his beard, I have seen the pictures but I can't remember him without one.  I am glad he was around to see my kids, even if he only saw my baby girl for 3 months.  I am happy that he was my Dad.   I am blessed for him being there for my oldest when he was young.  He was so proud of him.  When my oldest son was 3 he went over to my Dad and said, after coming home from preschool, "Grandpa, I don't have a Dad." then he looked at my Dad and said "but you are like my Dad.  You play baseball with me and do all Dad stuff."   

I want to wish my Dad a Happy Birthday.  Tell him I miss him everyday and I hope I make him proud. I love you Dad!

Please bring your small child his or her favorite toy with you but keep it hidden. This way if small children get fussy we can calm them and still get some great pictures taken.

1. A Session Fee must be paid at or before session. This fee is not refundable if the Client fails to appear. If the Photographer fails to appear at the place and time specified above, the deposit shall be refunded to the Client. Final payment must be made before prints are ordered.

2. Proof photographs shall be put on a password protected gallery within 3-5 days of your session and will stay up for 10 days. The client shall provide the Photographer with a written list of the proof images from which final photographs are to be prepared, and specify the number and format(s) of the final photograph to be delivered for each proof image.

3. The Client shall assist and cooperate with the Photographer in obtaining the desired photographs, including but not limited to specifying persons and/or scenes to be photographed; taking time to pose for photographs at the Photographer's direction; providing a person to guide the Photographer to desired persons and/or scenes; pre-shoot consultations, etc. The Photographer shall not be responsible for photographs not taken as a result of the Client's failure to provide reasonable assistance or cooperation.

4. Legal Notice:

All images remain the property of ojw studios and are covered by applicable copyright law. For this reason I ask that you do not attempt to make copies of the images I make for you since this is illegal without my written consent. Olivia Jean Williams and ojw studios holds the copyright to all images and reserves the right to publish and reproduce said images for the purpose of business promotion.
