Q&A

Can or should we bring props ?

Yes props are a great idea for adults and kids.  I do have a few props in my studio but sometimes the best props are ones that are special to you and your family.

How many photos do you take ?
We do not have a set amount that we take each session. Every session is unique.

Can you post our photos in an on-line photo gallery?

Yes, we do post your photos in an on-line gallery that is password protected so only you control who sees the photos.  There are one or two sneak peeks that are posted on facebook and my blog. The ones one facebook you can tag yourself in, I just ask that you do not crop out my logo if you use it as a profile picture.

Can we make copies of the prints we order?

No that would be a copyrights violation. But you can buy a CD of all your edited photos that will include rights to make your own prints up to an 8x10 size.

What if it rains on the day we have set up for our location session ?
This does happen from time to time.  If you are up for creative photos in the rain then we are ready to go, I have umbrellas.   However if your photo session is rained out we will set it up for another day or later in that same day.

What is your refund policy?

Session fee is non-refundable. It pays for my time working with you and your photos, during and after the session.   After ordering prints if you are unhappy with the prints you can return the prints for a refund on prints only.

Can we pay only 1/2 of the session fee and pay the rest at a later date?
No the full amount must be paid before we start taking your photos.  As stated before the session fee pays for my time working with you and your photos during and after your session.  If money is tight you might want to set up a payment plan with me before your session.  We can start weeks before your session this way by the time of your session your fee is paid in full and it didn't hurt your pocket.  We can do the same for your print order.

What time of day is best for our location photo session?

We can take photos at any time of the day but the best time is around an hour before sunset. We do also offer a mid day session starting around 3 hours before sunset.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there.  Even the Moms that are mothers to furry children (dogs, cats, rabbits or whatever pet you have).

I hope you have a wonderful day filled with love.

These pictures are a few of my favorite ones from a project I did called 365....I took a picture of myself everyday for a year.  It was hard to come up with something different each day and I also go sick of seeing myself.

This one is I love because it is a fairytale setting:
I love the next two for the dramatic lighting:

This one I love because it is my old over grown backyard in Florida:

I love this one because it is a page of my daily life, I clean, one of my kids mess it up:

I also love this one because it was early spring time in my old back yard in Florida:

This one I like because it is magical:

This one looks old so I love it:

I have many more photos that I love from this 365 project but that is enough for this post.

Happy Mother's Day to all!

Babies.......

For me babies are by far my favorite age to photograph.  It is a honor to get to photograph them.  Something I really love doing and one of the reasons I started my photography business.

From the tiny newborn 2 to 7 days old:

Then the cute little 3 to 5 month olds, who are so interested in my camera that they stare with beautiful large eyes.

The fun 6 to 10 months olds that will interact with me and I can get some adorable photos.

Then there are the one year olds.

The cake smashing sessions are my favorite for one year olds.

I would love to have the honor to photograph your child.  The Grand Opening of my new studio is May 23rd.
