Questions about who can be at your sessions....

Just some more questions that I have received last year that I answered in emails and now I want to add the questions on here.

Can I have my dog in my session?

Absolutely!  Pets are family members too. Most sessions with pets are done at parks or your house.  If you do want to have a pet session at my studio I only ask that you please clean up after your pet.

Since you will already be at my house for my family session can my sister come over for a session too?

I am flattered that your sister also wants a session with me but she will have to book her session separate from yours.  I only allow about 2 hours for each session and if we added others to your session both sessions would be rushed and I do not like to rush my sessions.

It is babies first birthday and I want to do a cake smashing session with you.  Can her Aunt, Uncle, Grandma and Grandpa be there for this session?

I love cake smashing sessions and I know Grandma and Grandpa would love to watch it too, but this is not a great idea.  Having too many people in the room will cause distractions for your baby.  It also can be too much for the baby, first there is the lights, my camera, me, you and then all of them on top of that.  My goal is to capture the best portraits of your child exploring the cake, I want to make sure I get some great portraits but when there are too many people in the room that will not happen.  So I ask that it just be you and one other adult for the session to get the best results.
